What you are not changing is what you are choosing.

Those words made me look at myself in the mirror and look deeper within. I had to examine what I was doing to improve my life, including what I was not doing to change it.

During my time of isolation, soul searching, and prayer, I realized nothing gets better until we decide to do better with our time here on earth.

To get better, I had to be willing to unearth hard truths about myself I had denied for an extraordinarily long time.
My life is a result of my choices.

My current life is based on the choices and decisions I have made up to this point. I made some wrong turns before I finally got it right.

My success took time and effort.

I succeeded by accident because I kept working purposefully while walking in faith.

On my journey, I learned that if I was ever to have a life worth living, I would have to make my dreams and desires non-negotiable.

Life experiences had to teach me hard lessons because my fears and foolish pride allowed knowledge and wisdom to offend me.
I had to quit making excuses and become the reason success would always be within my grasp.

On my knees, looking up, I had to learn to make my reasons why I would never give up more significant than my fears of why I should quit.

In this book, you will discover what it took for my Co-Authors and me to do to change our lives for the better.

We had to stop letting our fears make us forget everything we were fighting for and run when times got challenging. We had to learn to face everything life would present and rise to the occasion.

    Proving the Impossible

All my life, most people around me had made me feel inferior, which made it easy for me to grasp. I learned to doubt myself before I ever had the confidence to believe in the greatness within me.

It took facing my fears and many tears to learn to ask myself one simple question. Who am I not to be great? In my pursuit of self-discovery, I learned how to stop letting the devil use me because I allowed others to use me for my self-destruction. I was my greatest enemy, which turned out to be a problem that I could fix.

I had to discover two important things to remove all my doubts & fears, stopping me from being the best version of myself that I could be.

I had to learn to eliminate the things and people in my life that didn’t help me evolve. The only certainty in life is change. So, if you think you can or you think that you can’t, you’re right. My pride has always kept me going in the wrong direction in life. It would take all the strength & prayers that I had to surrender to love.

I deserved happiness, which meant that I had to put in that work to make it possible.
